Elvis Mayanja, Managing Director

I was born in Kampala (Kibuli) and completed my primary education at Kibuli demonstration school, then moved to the Republic of Ireland after my PLE. Here I attended Lucan Community College in Dublin then, Crumlin College where I attained a certificate in Engineering Technology. I studied Civil Engineering for a further year at the Dublin Institute of Technology after which I attended University Wales Institute Cardiff and gained a BSc (Hons) in Building Maintenance and Management.

Having left higher education in 2007, I have now gained a number of years experience in retail management but like so many of my Ugandan contemporaries, I am keen to encourage strong commercial ties with my homeland. This has naturally led me to instigate the creation of Uganda World Link - a facility that offers a wide range of services - primarily to Ugandans - at home - including advising in matters of land and property purchase, legal services and import/export trades to name but a few.

The head of clan in the family, I have 27 years of experience in the construction trade and have travelled extensively in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. I have a Diploma in Salesmanship from the Kampala College of Business and have worked on many successful projects, including private residential developments, (UGACHICK) Poultry Breeders Farm and Uganda Breweries estate management.

I am currently involved in construction, import/export and general supplies.
